CHINESE JOINT-VENTURE IN ENERGY SECTOR
Zoom’s ever-binding interest in the Energy Sector has manifested in the formation of a new Project Development Holding Company (K-Z-L) in Singapore, with a renowned Power Development, Environmental Control Equipment and Engineering Company in China (KAIDI GROUP) and a well-known firm of International Financial Advisors & Arranger (LONDON ASIA CAPITAL). The parties have joined hands and agreed to co-operate with each other to form a Joint Venture Company, which shall undertake Project Development Assignments, relating to Project Management, Engineering Consultancy, technology transfer, Initialization and Execution of various Power and related Projects and undertaking EPC-contracts, initially in China’s and India’s Energy/Environment sectors.
CAPTIVE POWER
Zoom is also developing custom-made schemes which can be undertaken for Indian Industries, who are increasingly opting for their own Captive Power Plants, to overcome Supply-problems (low voltage, fluctuating frequency, interruptions, frequent outages, high price, billing-hassles etc.)
WATER PURIFICATION/EFFLUENT TREATMENT
Zoom’s proposed Chinese partner has a few Water/ Effluent Treatment technologies developed, which are available for deployment in the Indian/ Chinese Energy Sector.
FLUE GAS DE-SULPHURISATION EQUIPMENTS / CIRCULATING FLUIDISED BED BOILERS
The Joint-Venture between KAIDI (China) -LAC (Singapore) - Zoom (India) will also allow us into Technology- packages, involving FGD and CFBC technologies, in the energy & related sectors.
Soil Savers, Dallas (USA)
ZDPL has acquired SOIL SAVERS (a running Company) in 2005, which is engaged in purifying contaminated soil and restoring it to ecologically accepted standards. Soil Savers is soon likely to be awarded a few contracts in Alaska, Mexico and West Coast of America.
Bio- Diesel (Jatropha)
Zoom has conducted experiments on a pilot scale, to cultivate Jatropha around Bangalore and the results are very encouraging in terms of the compatibility of the characteristics of Jatropha with those of Diesel.
