Steel Plant in Nova Scotia, Canada:
The Steel Plant in Canada has been bought and dismantled, under ZDPL's direct supervision. The existing Plant is a Fully Integrated Rail Manufacturing Facility, using Electric Arc furnace route. All the major equipment of the plant is manufactured by renowned Companies and has been maintained in excellent condition until the Plant stopped production in the year 2000. In its 1st Phase, after Dismantling and Relocation to a more technically feasible and commercially viable country, the Plant will be upgraded to work as a Composite Mill to produce Rails as well as Structural Sections. In the subsequent phases of project development, the Plant will be upgraded, expanded & diversified to become a 3 million tpa, Integrated Steel Plant, using the DRI-route. It is an extensive ongoing exercise covering the entire spectrum of Technical Audit; Market Analysis & Financial Viability Study; Plant-Acquisition; Strategic Relocation-Study; Dismantling & Match-Marking Activity; Re-installation and Re-commissioning of the Renovated/Upgraded Facility. This is helping ZDPL understand the dynamics of the Asset Restructuring and Construction (ARC)-business and has also bolstered its confidence to bid for & develop similar projects in various other Domains.

Auto-Components (Plastic Fuel Tank)
Zoom Group has also been engaged in developing a Plastic Fuel Tank Project, for producing 0.5 million , 70-litre HDPE Fuel Tank per line, for 4-wheel vehicles. The two Blow-molding machine-lines, pre-owned by NISSAN MOTORS (UK), have been dismantled and brought to India (Emerging Auto-Market), where their installation in an Industrial Estate around Pune (Maharashtra), is about to commence. Cotton Ginning Plant ( Zimbabwe)
ZDPL has installed a Cotton Ginning Plant for a Client in EPZ of Zimbabwe, which consists of 36 nos. of Double Roller Ginning Machineries for producing Lint (fiber) from Zimbabwean Raw Cotton that has a high uniformity, good elongation ,strength and is fairly fine and very mature and has very little contamination.The production capacity of the above project is 4320 MT per season. The results of the first full season (of Cotton Growing) of our Operations are encouraging.
